Dwight Ernest married Parnie Mabel on Nov. 12, 1932, Circleville, Pickaway County.
Dwight, a farmer, and Parnie, a graduate of 2-year teaching training course at Rio Grande, with work at Ohio University, a teacher in Vinton County from 1920 until 1970, were the parents of:

Margaret Ann, born Jan 5, 1934, Radcliff
Margaret Ann, graduate of Vinton Rural High School, 1951, married Charles Edward Trent, b May 26, 1934, Pike Co, KY, s/o Charles & Glennis Murphy, graduate of Wilton High School, 1952, employed by Western Electric, at her home in Radcliff, Oct. 23, 1954; parents of Tamara and Pamela; Charles Edward died Aug 22, 1984, 50Y, St. Ann's Hospital, Westerville; he is buried at Blendon Central Cemetery. Margaret Ann lives in Westerville.
Duane Barnes, married Ruth Eleanor Dickman, d/o Harry and Eleanor Newman, on Sept. 2, 1952, Vinton County; parents of three children, Michael Duane, Stephen and Eleanor Ann.
Duane Barnes McLaughlin, fireman for railroad, Veteran of the U. S. Navy during World War II, died July 13, 2013, 85Y, Amelia, Ohio. He is buried at Radcliff Cemetery.
Dwight Elwood married Shirley Louise Lukens, d/o Chester Theodore Lukens and Hilda Irene Ellenbaugh Luken-Loper, on August 12, 1961, Columbus; parents of Julie Marie, Jean Ann and Scott Dwight.
Dwight Elwood, a high school history teacher at Bremen High School, Fairfield County, and Brookhaven High School, Columbus & later a security officer for Columbus City, US Navy Veteran, died April 20, 2002, Columbus, 71Y. Dwight Elwood is buried at Radcliff Cemetery.
Dwight Ernest died Dec 1, 1958, at home, in Radcliff, 61Y 6M 3D
Parnie Mabel died Aug 11, 1983, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, then living with her daughter and son-in-law, 80Y 7M 1D
