Glendon D Barger Succumbs Friday In Sidney Home
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Richeson-Wickham funeral home in St. Paris for Glendon D Barger, 53, Sidney, who passed away at 11:30 p.m. Friday in his home.
Born March 11, 1903, in Champaign County, Barger had been ill only a few months. He was the son of James I and Ida May Gumpert Barger.
He was a sate highway department foreman in Sidney and a member of Pharos Lodge 344 as well as the Sidney American Legion.
Survivors include his wife Lucille; a daughter, Mr. A.C. Runkle Rosewood; his father James, Millerstown; two brothers, Richard of St. Paris and Laurel of Urbana route two; three sisters, Mrs. William Erwin, Urbana route two; Mrs. Riley Roush, Urbana route two; and Mrs. Max Skidmore of South Charleston
