Elizabeth Robinson-Mitchell
March 16, 1805 --- October 31, 1891
Jesse Mitchell was the first white child born in Union County - 4 Nov 1799. He was a son of Judge David Mitchell and Martha 'Mattie' Black. The extended Mitchell family migrated from Pennsylvania to 1000 acres along Big Darby Creek in what became Union County. On 26 Dec 1823, Jesse married Elizabeth Robinson, daughter of Reverend James Robinson and Mary Welch. They settled in Jerome Township and had nine children.
