Sarah Mitchell

December 24, 1859 --- September 29, 1953

Sarah was the oldest child of James Robinson 'J. R.' Mitchell and Olive Ann Gill. She completed her university education at Ohio Northern University and assisted in parenting her nephews, Jess and Marlow Mitchell - sons of her brother, William Gill Mitchell. Sarah and her brothers, William Gill Mitchell and James Frank Mitchell researched and completed the Mitchell Family History in the 1930s. They arranged the memorial in the Mitchell Cemetery for their great, great, great grandparents - David Mitchell Sr. and Jean McClellan.
